1) James Cameron (film director)


James Cameron is a critically acclaimed Oscar-winning film director known for some of the biggest box-office hits such as The Terminator, Titanic, and Avatar.

He has won the best director award for films such as Aliens, The Abyss, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, True Lies, and the prestigious Academy Award and Golden Globe Award for films such as Titanic and Avatar.

After watching the documentary Forks Over Knives he got inspired to adopt a vegan diet and has experienced improved health and stamina as a result.

At the BLUE Ocean Film Festival and Conference (video below), Cameron, who is also an avid environmental advocate said, “you can’t be an environmentalist, you can’t be an ocean steward without truly walking the walk”

3) Lewis Hamilton (Formula One Driver)


Lewis Hamilton who is widely regarded as one of the greatest drivers in the history of the sport is a British racing driver and a four-time Formula One World Champion.

His impressive 71 Grand Prix victories are the second highest of all-time, which is behind only to Michael Schumacher’s total of 91.

He was inspired to go vegan by What the Health documentary which has paved the way for many other celebrities to ditch animal products and has expressed how great he feels since adopting a vegan diet.

Venus Williams who has been ranked world No.1 on three occasions is an American professional tennis player who is generally regarded as one of the all-time greats of women’s tennis arena.

Williams’ has won seven Grand Slam singles titles, 14 Grand Slam Women’s doubles titles, two Mixed Doubles titles, and four Olympic gold medals,

Her tennis career could have been over cold turkey in 2011 after being diagnosed with an autoimmune disease.

Thanks to her decision to adopt a vegan diet she was able to recover and get back to doing what she loved, stepping back to the court with newfound vigor.

We first came to know Carrie Underwood as the winner of American Idol (2005) and has lived up to her aspirations in music receiving many awards and accolades since winning that title.    

She won three Grammy Awards for her debut album, Some Hearts and has won seven Grammy Awards in total, ten Billboard Music Awards, fourteen ACM Awards, thirteen American Music Awards, and eight CMA Awards.  

What’s remarkable about her songs is the fact that how well they have performed in the charts having 14 US number 1 hits and 27 top 10 hits.  

Carrie was growing up with her family farm and once she got to know the cows were slaughtered for meat she ditched meat.

She is now a vegan and this is what she had to say in a 2007 interview with PETA, “Ever since I was little I loved animals. If you told me I could never sing again, I’d say that was horrible, but it’s not my life. If you told me I could never be around animals again, I would just die.”
